Not only can you get a better work out in the water but you are also risking less injury – this is because by supporting your body weight in water through buoyancy relieves stress on your knees and joints in the water.  If you have previous injuries the water releases the pressure on all joints and gives you a full range of motion, this is a fun and stress free exercise – you don’t even realize you are exercising!!!
