Lessons
Parent & Tot
3 months – 2 years
A wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with your child while you have fun, learn swimming and safety skills and meet other parents and their tots. Through a structured in-water program created for the parent and child, our instructors stress the importance of safety and play in developing positive attitudes towards the water and safety skills. Our certified instructors provide coaching, guidance and answers to your inquiries.
Red Cross Preschool Program
2 years – 5 years
Provide your child the opportunity to begin learning how to swim! The Red Cross Preschool Program develops an appreciation and healthy respect for the water before kids get in too deep. In our 3 basic aquatic progressions, we work to ensure your toddler becomes comfortable and confident in the water and has fun acquiring and developing a foundation of water skills.
Red Cross Swim Kids Program
5 years and up
Red Cross Swim Kids is a 10-level stand-alone curriculum for children who have completed the Red Cross Preschool program. Children learn to swim, be active and healthy, and stay safe in a fun and educational environment that promotes achieving a personal best, celebrates personal successes and builds on confidence.
Through the course of the 10 levels offered in this program, children learn competitive and survival strokes, as well as increasing the distance and speed that each swimmer can achieve, while focusing on making safe decisions in, on and around the water.
Stroke Performance Improvement
3 years and younger, Swim Kids 10 completed
This is an ideal program for adults and teens, and for participants in Red Cross Swim Kids who require additional work on a stroke to complete the level. The program is designed to further develop strokes chosen by the swimmer in consultation with the Water Safety Instructor, and increase swimming distances and proficiency. This program is also a fantastic way to focus on personal goals to build speed and endurance while focusing on technique.
